Dr. Courtney Pollard - Owner / Dentist

Dr. Pollard was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She remained close to home and attended the University of Manitoba for undergraduate studies receiving her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2005, a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2009, and a B. Sc. Dent in Community Health in 2009.

After practicing for 2 years, in a well-established private practice in Winnipeg, Courtney and her husband Derek decided to move out west to the beautiful Okanagan valley.

Kelowna quickly became home for the Pollards, and they love spending time outside with their two kids: Isla and Clarke.

In her spare time Courtney enjoys running, spending time on her Peloton, golfing, and snowboarding up at Big White.

Courtney has now been practicing in West Kelowna since 2010 and has formed a very strong bond to the community and its people. It was this connection that helped her make the decision to open Brightside Dental in July of 2014. She wanted to offer the highest quality care in a family practice setting. She has since brought on other like minded dentists to work alongside her: Dr. Schader (has been at Brightside since 2016), Dr. Belbin and Dr. Loo.
