What the practice actually is
General family dentistry, from the first tooth to the last. Exams and cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, dentures, implants, Invisalign, whitening and sedation, all under one roof at 3608 Carrington Road.
What we do not do is more useful to know. We do not place orthodontic appliances beyond clear aligners, we do not treat under general anaesthetic, and complex oral surgery goes to an oral surgeon in Kelowna. When something is outside what this building does well, you get told that at the appointment rather than after three visits.
What a first visit looks like

Why the hours look like that
Thursdays run until 7pm and Fridays start at 7am. Neither is an accident. They exist so that a working parent and a school-age child do not have to give up a morning each, and so an appointment can happen before a shift instead of during one.
Ask for a family block when you call and say how many people and their ages. The front desk will tell you on the phone what is actually possible that week rather than booking three separate trips and letting you find out later.
Part of Webster Dental Group
Brightside is one of the practices in Webster Dental Group, owned by Dr. Michael Webster. The group does not treat patients, set clinical policy or appear on your chart. It shares the boring things behind the scenes: purchasing, payroll, IT, and the ability to cover a schedule when someone is off.
Your dentist is your dentist. The group is the reason the practice can keep a hygienist on staff and a CBCT scanner in the building.
How a first visit goes
About an hour. History, a look, x-rays if they are due, a cleaning if there is time and nothing that needs attention first. Then a plan on a screen with the fee beside each line and the insurance estimate beside that, before anything is agreed.
If you have been away from a dentist for a long time, the first appointment can be a look and a conversation and nothing else. That is a normal way to start and it is allowed to be where it stops for now.
