Two routes, and when each one wins
Boucherie Road is the scenic one, along the bench past the wineries, and it is the better choice outside peak hours. Highway 97 is faster when it is moving and slower when it is not, particularly around the bridge approach in the late afternoon.
Either way it ends at the Carrington Road turn, with the building set back on the left and parking in front.
Worth being deliberate about the time slot
This is the one part of West Kelowna where the appointment time changes the drive. A 7am Friday or a mid-morning weekday slot is a genuinely different journey from 4:30 on a Thursday.
Say so when you book. Tell the front desk you are coming from Lakeview Heights and they can offer around the awkward end of the day.
Making the drive count
Twelve minutes each way is the case for a family block: the whole household in one morning rather than three separate trips. Say how many people and their ages when you call.
It is also the case for the longer appointment. If several things need doing, ask whether they can be combined into one visit rather than spread across three — often they can, and from this distance that matters.
Common questions
Asked at the front desk.
How far is Brightside Dental from Lakeview Heights?
About 11.9 km, roughly 12 minutes, either along Boucherie Road or via Highway 97. Boucherie is usually better outside peak hours.
Can several treatments be combined into one appointment?
Often, yes. Ask when you book, particularly if you are travelling from further out. It is not always clinically sensible, and you will be told when it is not.
