What it is
What each option can and cannot do.
Whitening changes the shade of natural enamel and does nothing to crowns or fillings. Bonding reshapes small chips and gaps in one visit and can stain over years. Veneers change shape and shade together and involve permanently altering the tooth underneath. Invisalign moves teeth rather than resurfacing them. Which one is right depends on what is actually bothering you, and sometimes the answer is none of them.
- Teeth have darkened with coffee, tea or age
- A front tooth is chipped or worn short
- There is a gap you have always noticed
- Teeth have crowded or shifted since your twenties
- An old front filling no longer matches
- You have a date and want to know what is realistic before it
What the visit is like
How a cosmetic consultation works.
- You say what bothers you, in your wordsNot what a treatment page says should bother you. Often it is one tooth, not a smile.
- We say what is realisticIncluding where the honest answer is that the result would not justify the cost, or that the tooth is better restored than resurfaced.
- Options with fees, in writingEach approach with what it involves, roughly how long it tends to last, and what maintaining it means.
- You go home and thinkNothing here is urgent. Nothing gets booked in the chair because the moment felt right.
Cost and coverage
You should never be surprised by a bill.
Every plan arrives with the fee beside each line and the insurance estimate beside that, before you agree to anything. We submit to your plan directly where it allows it, and we are set up for the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
Fees for this are quoted in writing after an exam, per tooth and per surface. Nobody can price it accurately from a website or over the phone.
Common questions
Asked on the phone most weeks.

If it is pain, say that -- it changes how the day gets arranged. If it is a checkup for three people, say that too and we will try to put you in one morning.
